Q2 - FY10 Results : OFSS up by 119% yoy

Oracle Financial Services Software Limited, a majority owned subsidiary of Oracle, announced Indian GAAP results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2010 with consolidated net income of Rs2.05bn, up by 119% compared to the same quarter last year, and operating income of Rs1.86bn, an increase of 76% compared to the same quarter last year.

Consolidated Indian GAAP revenues for the second quarter were Rs6.79bn, down 3% year over year. The EPS for the quarter was Rs24.42, up 119% compared to the same quarter last year. Consolidated revenues for the half year were Rs13.89bn, up 4% compared to the corresponding period last fiscal year. The consolidated net income for the half year was Rs3.90bn, up 96% over corresponding period last year.

We can have our own opinion on anything; however never compel anybody to accept it.

For someone, when we are neither auditor nor creditor/debtor, even then should we develop interest in knowing his income- expense details?

 Employer: Your personal issues should not affect your work.

 Employee: Management’s worries MUST not affect my Pay slip.
